Man robs business in motorcycle helmet, flees on dirt bike

PUEBLO – Police are looking for a man who they believe stole money from a roofing business and escaped on a green dirt bike.

It happened at around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday at RCI Roofing, on 2400 N. Freeway.

Police say the suspect, who was wearing all black (except for a green motorcycle helmet), walked into the business holding a handgun.

Witnesses say they saw him fleeing on his dirt bike on northbound Frontage Road. Officers later searched the area and learned he may have been seen driving westbound on 29th Street.

The dirt bike is believed to be a Kawasaki.Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Pueblo Police at 719-553-2502. You can also remain anonymous and call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 719-542-STOP.

The incident remains under investigation.
