Black and White Flag Half Neoprene Face Mask

What is the meaning of the black-and-white U.S. flag Neoprene Half Face Mask?

I don't know. But, I do know that none of these idiots in the following Yahoo comments have a clue.

Read what they think the Black and White Flag Half Neoprene Face Mask means:
1.As you've said, in current times the black and white American flag is taken as a symbol for the economic recession that the country is going through. It is believed to be a call for change and a symbol of freedom of expression.

There is another side to the story that has nothing to do with the recession. The original concept of the black and white American flag was to depict the past, present and future of all the Black Americans living in America. The black represents the past as well as the future. The black is also considered to symbolize the backbone or the background of Black Americans. This is because the country was built through many sacrifices and black seems to be the appropriate color to depict the struggle. It is also taken as a representation of the present struggle of Black American's to unit and initiate a social change.

The flag also features white stars that are used to represent the past and future as well. It is also meant to serve as a reminder of the North Star. The North Star has historically been used as a means of seeking guidance when moving through land and sea. It is also a symbol for the ancestry of black Americans. In current times however it is taken as a guide to pave the way for a better future.

2. Anyone can put any meaning to anything. However, I have work black and silver, green and blue, green and black, and maroon and blue flags all in uniform and all in what is called subdued colors that are harder to spot at a distance therefore they help you survive. I do also know there are many other subdued flags used on uniforms and aircraft or vessels and vehicles for instance have you seen the sand and brown flag from the 1st gulf war, think about it, there is nothing racial, ethnic, or religious based about our flag. It's just the symbol of America to the world. So why must people put mysterious meaning behind something so easy to see and understand.
3. This flag has recently come to my attention. I definitely see the military reasoning behind it. But at the end of the day. The flag gives me a feel of uneasiness. Like a new America with out spirit. Especially when the police have it on their uniforms.

4. I cannot confirm the above answer but for many, it is the flag that deployed soldiers receive when deploying overseas. They are infrared black and white flags. That is associated with the deployed patch.

5. I DON'T REALLY THINK THERE IS ANY REASON AT ALL FOR THE BLACK AND WHITE AMERICAN FLAG, THERE IS NO SUCH THING,
