Hillsborough Deputies looking for armed robbers wearing motorcycle helmets

Hillsborough County Deputies are looking for two robbers, who like to wear motorcycle helmets.

Investigators believe the men held up three businesses last week. They say the robbers held up the Direct General Insurance Company on Adamo Drive, January 18th at 9:51 a.m. Five hours later, they hit the Metro PCS store on Kingsway Road in Brandon. The next day, they robbed Causeway Self Storage on 86th Street.

Surveillance videos show only one robber at a time. In each case, the robber is wearing a black and silver motorcycle helmet and a black jacket. One of the men appears to be 35-40 years old, 5'11" to 6'1", 180-200 pounds, with a neatly trimmed goatee. The other appears younger, 25-30 years old, 6'1" to 6'3", stocky build, 220-230 pounds. They were both driving a grey 1999-2000 Isuzu Rodeo.

They also both carried a Derringer gun with black grips and a silver, vertical double barrel. Anyone with any information should call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200.
